5 grams of solute is dissolved in 40 grams of water to form a saturated solution at a given temperature calculate its solubility
Madhu.v.d ,
The answer to your is as follows...
Mass of Solute = 5 grams
Mass of Solvent = 40 grams
Mass of Solution = 40g + 5g = 45 grams
Concentration of solution = Mass of Solute x 100
Mass of Solution
= 5 grams x 100
45 grams
= 1 x 100
9
= 11.111... x 100
= 1111.12 <APPROX>
