Oxidation No, of Na = 1+ ; Cr = ?? ; O = 2-
So,
(2 * 1) + (2 * x) + (7 * (-2)) = 2 + 2x - 14
Therefore,
2x = 14 - 2
2x = 12
So, x = +6
