q9. when the lift accelerates upwards with an acceleration 'a', the apparent acceleration due to gravity would become (g+a).
now T= 2 'pie' root of (l/g) ---1
and T/2=2 'pie' root of (l/g+a) ----2
substitute T in 2 from 1
therefore a=3g
