9. Which of the following statements is incorrect?

Dear Student

All metals are hard and strong is the wrong statement. Group 1 metals such as sodium, lithium are soft metals. In fact, some of them are so soft that they can be cut with a knife also!

The rest of the options are all correct. Silver and Gold are the most malleable and ductile metals.
Ductility: Property of a material to stretch without getting damaged. Metals having ductile property can be stretched into wires. Malleability: Property of a material to be hammered, pressed, or rolled into thin sheets without breaking. The metals having malleable property can be rolled or beaten into sheets.

Mercury and Gallium are liquid at room temperatures. (Gallium around 30 degrees)

Most metals have high specific gravities, which is defined as the ratio of the density of the material to the density of water at a specified temperature. Lithium is an exception which has lower specific gravity.
