A,B and C share profits and losses in the ratio 3:3:2. D is admitted with1/4th share. B would retain his original share. A and C decide to share profits and losses equally in future. Find out the new profit shaing ratio.

Dear Student,

Old ratio between A, B & C is 3:3:2

New partner's D's share is 14
So remaining share = 1-14=34

B would retain his original Share which is 38
Now remaining share has to be divided equally between A & C

Remaining share for A & C =
34-38=38
A's share = C's Share = 12×38=316
Therefore new ratio is 316:38:316:14 or 3:6:3:4
