a ball of mass 500g strikes a wall at an accelaration of 100m/s^2 and bounces back calculate the new accelaration of the ball and the resistance offered by the wall

Dear student,
Considering the collision as elastic.
There won't be any change in the acceleration and as per Newton's third law of equal and opposite reaction,
resistive force = 0.5  * 100 = 50N.
Acceleration = 100m/s².
