The speed of the wave v, its frequency n and the wavelength of the wave λ are related as,
 v=nλ
Or,
 λ=vn
On substituting the values in the above equation we get,
 λ=350 m/s30 kHz
On converting kilohertz into hertz we get,
 λ=350 m/s30×103 Hzλ=0.0117 mλ=1.17×10-2 m

We know that the distance is the product of speed and time, so the distance between the bat and the obstacle is found as,
 s=vt
On substituting the values we get, 
s=350 m/s0.6 ss=210 m
