a) Besides ill health and disease , diseases greatly affect the quality of eggs, milk or fats in the body of the animal. The lactation amount as well as quality may suffer due to diseases. 

b) The diseased cattle can be differentiated from healthy ones by observing their behavior, interaction, food consumption, excreta, milk yield etc. These external factors can give cue for some underlying problem.

c) Concentrates are high energy food including fat, cereal grains and their by products. They also include high protein oil meals or cakes and byproducts obtained from processing of sugarcane, fish and animals.
