A box weighs 500 N.Its base has an area of 5 m2.What pressure does it exert?If another identical box is placed on top of the first box.What is the pressure now?

            = 500N/5m2
           = 100Pa

​When another identical box is placed on top of the first box, the pressure becomes  double and hence becomes =200Pa

pressure=500/5=100pa
​pressure2=1000/5=200pa

Pressure = force/area
               =  500 N / 5 m2
               =  100 Nm​2
               = 100 pa
 if  the identicle box is placed  then the force is doubled
 
                we know that  pressure is directly proportional to force for same surface
                     pressure is also doubled
             pressure become 200pa
