Let the full quantity =xstep 1: Paint=x-5 and thinner=5step 2: Paint is x-5-5 and thinner 5+5=10now ratio of paint and thinner is 49:15⇒x-1010=4915⇒15×x-10=49×10⇒15x-150=490⇒15x=490+150⇒15x=640⇒x=64015⇒x=42
