a cavity is taken
Dear Student
Charge would be induced on the cavity boundary such that net charge enclosed inside any Gaussian surface inside the conductor is zero.
Since net charge of dipole is zero so net charge induced on inside surface is zero. So the outside surface won't have any charge.
So potential at P will be zero.
