A circle touches the y axis at 0,3 and cuts and interept of 8 units on x axis pls explain me the doubts

1. What is the differrence between touhing and forming intrcept?
2. The radius =8 so can we solve the eqn of circle by the points 0,3 and 8,0
3. pls explain me the easiest method with formula

The case shown here can be reverse also , it means it can be in negative side of x-axis also .
Here TS = 8 , so PT = PS = 4
And OP = 3
Hence OT = 3² +4² = 5²
Hence the radius = 5

And coordinate of O is (5 , 3 )
Here 5 can be negative as well as positive.

So the equation are (x -5)² + (y -3)² = 25
(x+5)² +(y-3)² = 25

Touching means P and ST is the intercept.
