A crystalline pale green compound A when heated gives a characteristic odour of burning Sulphur and another Residue b is obtained which is brown in colour write the balanced equation and identify the compounds A and B.
Please give me answer fast.....
??????

A-1) The pale green compound is ferrous sulphate heptahydrate. When this compound is heated, it loses water and forms anhydrous ferrous sulphate (FeSO4). On further heating ferrous sulphate decomposes to give ferric oxide which is reddish brown in colour, sulphur dioxide and sulphur trioxide. Thus X is FeSO4.7H2O and gases are SO2 and SO3. Following are the chemical equations for the reaction

A-2) The metal X is copper. Copper is more reactive than silver, and therefore when a strip of copper metal is placed in silver nitrate solution, it displaces silver from the salt and forms copper nitrate and silver metal. Following is the chemical equation for the reaction

 Cu + 2AgNO3 → Cu(NO3)2 + 2Ag
