Solution) Since the cube is divided into 1000 cubes which implies
that there are 10 cubes on each edge of the cube
On each face, there will be 8 × 8 small cubes which have
exactly one face painted
So total number of cubes painted yellow atmost on 1 surface = 6
× 8 × 8 = 384
