Explanation: Given A cylindrical tube of length 120 cm and with a tuning fork of frequency 330 if it is formed by water than to get resonance minimum length of water column is b is equal to 330 metre per second We know that ν = nλ              So λ = ν / n                      = 330 / 330                      = 1 m So first resonance will be    L1 = λ / 4 = 1/4 = 25 cm So second resonance will be L 2 = 3λ / 4 = 3/4 = 75 cm Third resonance will be L3 = 5λ/ 4 = 5/4 = 125 cm Now maximum height of water will be 120-75 =45cm
