mostly the tablets given for iron deficiency contain iron compounds which are not as hard as iron, some of these compounds are ferrous sulphate, ferrous fumerate and ferrous citrate which get get broken down in the process of digestion

the tablets contain a very bowdered form of iron oxide.it splits during digestion into iron and ooxygen.the iron is then used by the body for forming blood
