# A furniture dealer deals in only two items : tables and chairs . He has Rs. 15000 to invest and a space to store atmost 60 pieces . A table costs him Rs. 750 and a chair Rs.150 . Formulate the data in the form of inequations and draw a graph representing the solution of these inequations.

Now the maximum number of pieces he can store =60

$\therefore x+y\le 60$.........(1)

Also it is given that maximum amount he can invest = Rs 15000

$\therefore 750x+150y\le 15000\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}\Rightarrow 5x+y\le 100.......\left(2\right)$

Hence the shaded region together with its boundary represents the solution set of the given inequations.
