The relationship between the Pressure (here Po) exerted by a gas and a particles mass (say m0) and velocity (v0) is 

 

 Po = (nm0v02)/3

n is the number density of the particles

Here the mass of every particle is halved and the velocity is doubled, so the new pressure becomes

   P1 = (nm1v12)/3 

here m1 = m0/2 and  v1= 2vo. Now solving the equation for P1, we will get

 

   P1 = 2P0
