as viral) can be grown from infected crop plant through meristem
culture This is because meristem remains free from any infection
Meristem can be removed from shoot apex, root apex, or axillary
areas of plant and then can be used to propagate virus free plants
Many of the crop plants such as banana, sugarcane, potato, etc have
been successfully produced through meristem culture (B)
