let velocity of plane  v = 450 m/s.

wingspan l = 30 m.

mag. Field  B = 4 × 10-4 T

angle of dip α = 30

therefore vertical component Bv = B sin α

  = 4 × 10-4 × sin 30

               Bv = 2 × 10-4 T

 

Motional EMF εBv l v

  = 2 × 10-4  × 30 × 450

  = 27000 × 10-4  

                       ε = 2.7 Volts

Actual, the above solution is correct except for the part where 4*10-4 is assumed as B. It is actually B/cosθ as it is the horizontal component.
