A man throws a ball of mass 0.4 kg vertically upwards with a velocity of 10m/s. Find the initial momentum. Also find its momentum at the highest point of its reach.

Initial Momentum = mu = 0.4 x 10  = 4 kg. m/s​​​​​.

At highest point of reach its final velocity will be zero.

So final momentum = mv = 0.4 x  0 = 0 kg. m/s​​​​​.
