Molecular weight of H2O=18u
∴ Moles of H2O=18 / 18=1
Weight of ethanol (C2H5OH)=414g
Molecular weight of C2H5OH=46u
∴ Moles of C2H5OH=46 / 414=9
∴ Mole fraction of water =moles of H2O / moles of H2O +moles of C2H5OH
=1 / (1 + 9)
∴ Mole of fraction H2O=0.1
