Solution:

Let the number be x
                                   Then, the other number will be 2x5
Now, we have:⇒x+2x5=70⇒5x+2x5=70⇒7x5=70⇒x=7010×571∴ Other number=50×25=20Hence, the numbers are 50 and 20
