A person in an artificial satellite of earth feels weightlessness. But a person on the moon has weight though the moon is also a satellite of earth. why?

Dear Student ,
In artificial satellite there is no gravitation but on the surface of the moon gravity is present with its effect very little in amount .
That is why a person feels weightlessness due to the absence of gravity on the artificial satellite and have some weight on the surface of the moon .

weightlesseness is a phenomenon when the gravitational force  is completely used up for providing centripetal acceleration
