A person with ‘A’ blood group does not produce anti-A antibodies. Why?

Dear student, person with 'A' blood group have antigen A on there RBC's surface , if anti 'A' antibodies will be produced they would cause the destruction of there own blood(RBC). So anti 'A' antibodies are produced in such persons. Regards

For example, people with type A blood will have the A antigen on the surface of their red cells (as shown in the table below). As a result, anti-A antibodies will not be produced by them because they would cause the destruction of their own blood.
