Given, Length of the plot = 85 m
Breadth of the plot = 60 m
The grass is laid on the shaded area of the field
Length of the field to be covered with grass = 85 m – 5
m – 5m = 75 m
Breadth of the field to be covered with grass = 60 m –
5m – 5m = 50 m
∴ Area to be laid with grass = 75 m × 50 m = 3750
m2
