No. At normal pressure (1 atm), the boiling point of water is 99.97 degrees Celsius. This is usually rounded to 100 degrees Celsius. As you go up in elevation, the atmospheric pressure decreases, and the boiling point of water decreases. So pure water can never have a boiling point higher than 100 (99.97) degrees Celsius. However, your thermometer may also be defective.
