yes. i agree to this completely.
bcuz as i the real lyf most of the writers n ppl identify ghost as sm scary figures. bt in the chapter it is illustrated differently. the ghost in the chapter was quite similar to human beings. they go on strikes, she worn spectacles , the ghosts even formed a bureau.... the ghosts in the story were totally dfrnt frm those wich humans thinks them to be.. it is lyk an irony to the real lyf. the ghosts r usually personified as scary n haunted figure.. bt in the story, they were described to be undrstndng n pleasant too.. lyk the way ghost requests the author to stop his friends n family frm using ouija board.. whereas they r often taken as the ones who usually sacre ppl.... so it brings a humorous touch to the story... as wt v usually believe, is nt always lyk dat...! :)))
