A ship is loaded in sea water to maximum capacity.What will happen if this ship is moved to river water?Why?

The density of sea water is high compared to normal fresh water. This is the reason why ships can easily float on it. However, if were to place the ship in river water then, due to its lesser density (than sea water), the ship is bound to sink if its completely loaded.

@Chandana...Good effort, keep it up!

it will sink because the river is less deeper than the sea and the bouyant force is less....
