If successive discount %, d₁ %, d₂ %, d₃ %... are given, then

$S.P.= M.P. × (\frac{100 - d_{1}}{100}) \times (\frac{100 - d_{2}}{100}) \times (\frac{100 - d_{3}}{100}) \times ...$

Here, Market price, M.P. = Rs 4500

d₁ % = 10%

d₂% = 5%

$∴ S.P. = 4500 × (\frac{100 - 10}{100}) \times (\frac{100 - 5}{100}) = 4500 \times \frac{90}{100} \times \frac{95}{100} = 3847.50$

∴ Selling price of the DVD = Rs 3847.50
