a small ball is dropped from rest from height 10m on a horizontal floor. if e between ground and body is 0.5 then find the max. ht it can rise after collision....plz try to tell fast i hv a test tmrw.....thankx!
velocity just before striking the ground = v = root(2gh) = root (2*10*10)
velocity just after collision with the ground = v' = ev = 0.5 * root(2*10*10)
max height => 0 - 2*10*10 = 2*(-10)*h => 10m
