Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's needs, but not every man's greed./when the last tree will cut down, when the last river will be poisoned, when the last fish was caught then man can understand that money can't be eatentaking this a base good morning to respected principal sir,members of the jury,and my dear friends . today i am going to present a speech on the topic save earth save life...

I really wonder at the absurdity of the title of my speech Save Mother Earth. Does it not look absurd that a 6ft tall man, just one species in millions of species of earth, a species that is powerless against tsunamis, earthquakes, tectonic plate movements, volcanic eruptions, a species that cannot save itself if mother earth sneezes is talking about Saving Mother Earth..?Lets look at some facts.The climate of earth has been undergoing changes all throughout its millions of years of existence. Tectonic plate movements, Orbital variations, variations in solar radiation, change in vegetation, volcanic eruptions that throw out materials from the depth of earth into atmosphere have been happening all the times.These have been causing climate change all through the history of mother earth. Only in the last few centuries, the impact of man on climate change has accelerated.Due to rapid industrialization and very high energy consumption, man has been drilling petrol from deep inside the earth, throwing it out into atmosphere through uncontrolled emission almost relentlessly every second and all over the world. Thus Mother earth has been subjected to artificial volcanic eruptions every second, polluting the atmosphere all around earth. This definitely has accelerated the climate change.The expanding human population and greedy consumption of minerals and materials has resulted in rapid deforestation. This has accelerated the changes in vegetation and has accelerated the aging process of Mother Earth.Onshore and Offshore drilling of petroleum, Huge dams that generate hydro-electric power, deforestation, un-controlled mining et al could have caused changes in tectonic plate movements or accelerate earth-quakes, though it is yet to be scientifically proved.Irrespective of mans actions, Earth has its own life-cycle and would get doomed in few billion years. But mans irresponsible actions as I said above have accelerated or subverted the natural process in particular directions and brought the impending doom much closer.This doom is not for Mother Earth. It is the doom for all the species living in Mother Earth and in particular the doom for human race. So when we talk about saving Mother Earth, its not about saving Mother Earth. It is about saving ourselves and our progeny from faster death.

Now the global warming warning is so fast that there is a climate change. The mother earth is in danger; the life is in danger. SAVING THE FOREST- The evolution of all of us was possible because of the plant or forests. Forest gives us oxygen, food, shelter, medicines, furniture .Forest protect us from heat of the sun, cold waves and heavy rains. Forest keeps the balance of nature, environment, climate, weather and atmosphere. As a matter of fact forest is our life, but what are we doing? We are destroying the forest means we are destroying our life and future. Today whatever problems we see they all are by deforestation. If we are intellectual being, we must save the plants and forests, they will save us. SAVING THE WILD LIFE-Our Earth is primarily belongs to all other living things because human species came on earth very late, just 5 million years. But we overpowered them and killed for our use. Now thousands of species are extinct as their habitat is gone. As a matter of fact these animals, birds and insects have built the environment better for them and for us. They are the real creatures of the nature. If they are here on earth we are here on earth. If they are gone we will also be gone.

Without the Earth we have no where to live, along with many other organisms. If we don't save the Earth now maybe our children or grandchildren might not be able to see it for long. Our atmosphere is weakening and we have to do something about it fast. 

We could plant more trees to create more oxygen to keep the bad air away from the atmosphere, or we could just stop cutting down the rainforest. We are living and we need the space but we aren't the only species on this earth. Saving the rainforest is not only good for us and the atmosphere but also good for the many different species that it homes.

We could try to get as many people as possible to switch to hybrids and other energy saving things to use less fossil fuel for energy and relying more on solar and wind energy. Fossil fuels are destroying our earth and we need to limit the use of it.

Recycling is a great and easy way to help our precious planet. Everyone can help, all they have to do is follow three simple rules; Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! 

The world is precious and we need to keep it that way.

Introduction

Save earth and save environment both related to the safety of life on the earth. As being human being, we should strictly involve in the activities reducing pollution and global warming and save the earth.

Easy Ways to Save Earth

There are various easy ways which can be helpful in saving the earth. Earth is the only known planet of the solar system having life. In the ancient time, people were not involved in any type of destructive work, so there was no any fear of pollution and other environmental issues. After explosion in the population, people started developing cities and industries for the modern lifestyle and easy life for everyone. For industrialization man learned misusing the natural resources beyond the limit. People involved in deforestation which resulted in extinction of various wild animals, pollution, and global warming. Due to the global warming the protective ozone layer got a hole, rise in sea level, melting of ice caps of Antarctica and Greenland, etc negative changes occurred. Such types of environmental changes are alarming sign to us. Following are some ways regarding save earth:

  • We should save forest through afforestation and reforestation. Plants are the most basic need of life whether human beings, animals or other living things. They give us food, oxygen, shelter, fuel, medicines, safety, and furniture. They are very necessary to maintain the natural balance between environment, climate, weather, and atmosphere.
  • We should take care of the wildlife by stopping deforestation and promoting reforestation. Thousands of species and birds have been extinct because of destruction of their habitat. They are very necessary to balance the food chain in the nature.
  • Our environment is being declined continuously as a result of deforestation, industrialization, urbanization, and pollution. It is threatening the lives through global warming and climate changes because of the emission of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. We should save our environment to balance all the natural cycles.
  • We are needed to bring huge level changes in our unnatural lifestyle as much as possible to save the earth.
  • There is need to transform cities into Eco-cities to maintain the ecological balance in the atmosphere.
  • The government of all the countries need to work together to bring global changes.

Why to Save Earth

There is urgent need to save our earth because of the continuous rising in global temperature, melting of polar ice caps, bleaching of coral reefs, and increasing risks of tsunami, floods and droughts. The condition of our mother earth is getting poor which is reducing the chances of healthy life. Earth is the most important source of all the basic elements required to keep us alive. Bad human activities have given rise to various environmental issues due to release of toxic fumes, chemical wastes and excessive noise.

Conclusion

Government has taken various effective steps regarding save earth, save life and save earth, save environment in order to continue the healthy life on the earth. Without earth, life is not possible anywhere in the universe. Human activities related to the destruction of natural resources of earth are impacting the earth environment very badly. So, it is our sole responsibility to save the earth by practicing Eco-friendly activities.

Many people have to sustain a loss, homeless, died and become refugee because of flood. This condition is worsened by disposal of waste and pollution which had caused environment problems. The usage of pesticide and fertilizer in large amount by farmers have also brought about unknown diseases. That problem become a very big Challenge, well known with global warming. DAYS PASSED  TECHNOLOGY HAS BECOME AN INTEGRAL PART OF OUR LIFE .THESE CHANGES IN PEOPLE'S LIFESTYLE HAS LEAD TO  DESTRUCTION OF RESOURCES  WHICH RESULTS IN  POLUTION . LIKE WATER, AIR ,LAND AND ,SOUND POLLUTION .THGESE LEEADS TO DAMAGE OF EARTH . ITS HIGH TIME WE HAVE TO TAKE ACTION AGAINIST THIS AND  SAVE OUR MOTHER EARTH.

Everyone should plant more trees in the surrounding areas to curb the pollution and reduce the effects of global warming. There are numerous easy ways we can save our planet however, depends on the dedication and rate of good habit followers. It should be promoted the development of environment friendly technologies so that they could not harm the planet. People should make the habit of reduction in usage of harmful things, re-usage and recycle of things in order to generate less amount of wastes.

Generally, many people use variety of house cleansers in order to keep their houses clean and disinfected. They never see the chemical constituents of that particular cleanser which can be very destructive to the water, soil and air. We should be very clear about what products we are using in daily life and always select eco-friendly cleansing products. Pollutions and global warming are generally being spread by the commercial industries to a great extent. They should follow the government rules and regulations made for controlling the same. They should limit their harmful commercial-grade production and involve in producing environment friendly products. Awareness regarding save earth should be promoted among youths by including this topic to their study. They should be involved in the activities like planting, group discussion, essay writing, speech recitation, banner making, slogan writing competition, theme based drama play, etc in the school and college. The event named as Earth Day is celebrated annually on 22nd of April to spread awareness regarding save earth among public.

Earth is the only planet where the existence of water ,air,soil,atmosphere,life etc., can be seen .If any of the above mentioned things are removed then the existence of life is not possible . Instead of caring respecting our natural resources to save earth we are just wasting it .Global warming ,pollution,population,green house effects,ozone depletion etc are the causes of depletion of sources and pollution of air,water,soil,noise etc.To save the earth we should start doing from now many things such as afforestation saving the natural resources ,reusing and reducing the wastes,etc.,so that our future generations can also use the natural resources.We should save earth to save life.

The climate of earth has been undergoing changes all throughout its millions of years of existence. Tectonic plate movements, Orbital variations, variations in solar radiation, change in vegetation, volcanic eruptions that throw out materials from the depth of earth into atmosphere have been happening all the times. These have been causing climate change all through the history of mother earth. Only in the last few centuries, the impact of man on climate change has accelerated. Due to rapid industrialization and very high energy consumption, man has been drilling petrol from deep inside the earth, throwing it out into atmosphere through uncontrolled emission almost relentlessly every second and all over the world. Thus Mother earth has been subjected to artificial volcanic eruptions every second, polluting the atmosphere all around earth. This definitely has accelerated the climate change. The expanding human population and greedy consumption of minerals and materials has resulted in rapid deforestation. This has accelerated the changes in vegetation and has accelerated the aging process of Mother Earth. "Modern technology owes ecology an apology" – said Allan Edison. I would say Modern technology owes man an apology. I would offer here four solutions with which we can decelerate our impact on climate change and save ourselves from accelerated doom. My first solution is to decentralize energy generation. Centralized energy generation and distribution over long distances causes huge energy losses and increase the environmental cost. We need to invest in technologies that allow energy generation closer to place of consumption. For example, with right technologies, fuel cells and solar energy could be used in every home and office. Tidal energy could be used by industries located closer to sea-shores. Industries could be located closer to sea-shores to exploit tidal energy and wind-energy. Why we should not have technologies that capture the heat of our tar roads and convert them to energy..? Instead of establishing large-scale energy plants that guzzle up exhaustible resources, we should invest in technologies of future that rely on in-exhaustible resources. Clean Energy technologies are the need of the hour. My second solution is to decentralize food production. Food grains such as rice, wheat are almost grown all over India. Today these are transported to central warehouses located in few places, raising the need for transportation and impacting climate. We should have ware-housing facilities in every village powered by bio-gas and other local available energy mechanisms. Our crop patterns need to be made scientific, variable and not focus on just rice and wheat or cash crops. Such a spread of crops would promote local self-sufficiency. Strange but true, we need to also modify our food habits to have less environmental impact. Why can’t we grow green and vegetables in every house as we grow fish in aquariums..? It is just a question of technology. Decentralized distributed production is required not only in food, but also in many items wherever it is possible to be achieved to reduce transportation costs. My third solution is to make environmental impact analysis studies compulsory in all streams of knowledge. Economists must correlate environmental impact in their models. Chemists, Biologists, Scientists of various streams ranging from nuclear science to nano-technology need to consider environmental impacts in all their products and solutions. Why..? Even mathematicians, statisticians, musicians, cine-actors, workers, employers, management graduates, Civil service people, almost everyone need to have the knowledge to understand the environmental impact of their solutions and services. As I said initially, man has no power to save Mother Earth. Long after the death of human race, mother earth will continue in this form or other forms. We are simply talking about not accelerating the aging process of human race and avoiding a premature death to our race. The resources earth provides us with are limited. They are blessings which we do not count. Human has become selfish and is utilizing the earth?s resources at a rapid rate. We need to protect them in order to protect our lives. This is so because man and all living organisms depend on the earth for their survival.

It is The Need of the Hour

To say that saving the earth is the need of the hour would be an understatement. All the activities of humans driven by greed and selfishness have caused immense damage to the earth. It is degraded it beyond repair. Almost all the natural resources are now polluted due to these activities.

When all these resources will be under threat, naturally lives of all?living organisms?will be under peril. This is why we need to save the earth at all costs. All the other issues are secondary and saving the earth is the main concern. For when the earth will not remain, the other issues will go away automatically.

Earth is the only planet which can sustain life on it. We do not have a planet B which we can move onto. This makes it all the more serious to save the earth and save our lives. If we do not take strict actions now, we will lose the chance of seeing our future generations flourish forever.
