A SQAURE HAS 6 LINES OF SYMMETRY BUT THAT IS NOT EQUAL TO THE ORDER OF THE ROTATIONAL SYMMETRY OF THE SQUARE. CAN SOMEONE CLEAR MY DOUBT ?

A square has 4 lines of symmetry- 2 along the diagonal and 2 along the sides.

We know that "If a figure has more than one line of symmetry, then it has rotational symmetry of order equal to the number of its lines of symmetry".

Therefore, the order of rotational symmetry of square is 4.
