A strip of copper was placed in a beaker containing zinc sulphate solution. On observing the strip next day was there any colour change in the strip?

No there will be no colour change as copper does not displace zinc from its salt solution as copper is less reactive than zinc.

no. since copper is less reactive than zinc , no reaction takes place

If u see the reactive series, u can observe tat zinc is reactive than copper. Due to this phenomenon, copper can not displace zinc in the solution of zinc sulphide or any of the sol.of zinc. There fore no change occurs.

When a copper strip was placed in zinc sulphate solution the change in the colour of the strip was not observed as copper is less reactive than zinc, it does not displace zinc from its salt solution.

Copper is less reactive than zinc. Since copper strip is placed in a salt solution of zinc, copper being less reactive than zinc cannot displace zinc from its salt solution.

No there will be no colour change as copper is less reactive than zinc and no displacement takes place.
Hope it helps!
