A triangle and a parallelogram have the same base and area.If the sides of a triangle are 40cm, 24cm and 32cm and the parallelogram stands on the base 40cm. Find the height of the Parallelogram

Given: sides of ∆ are 40 cm, 24 cm, 32 cm

Now area of ║gm = area of ∆

⇒ 40 cm × height = 384 cm2

Hence height of the ║gm is 9.6 cm
