A triangle of height 8cm and base 12cm is inscirbed in a circle of dia 14cm. Find the area of the shaded region

A. 108cm2
B. 90cm2
C. 88cm2
D. 98cm2

For the shaded region's area we need to subtract the area of triangle from the area of the circle.

Area of circle = πr2

                      = 2271422
                      = 22(7) = 154 cm2

Now area of triangle = 12×base×height

                                 = 12×12×8

                                = 48 cm2

Area of shaded region = area of circle - area of triangle = 154 - 48 = 106 cm2

I didnt got the answer in options. The answer I got was 106cm2 .
Area of triamgle = 1/2bh
                          =1/2*12*8
                          =48
area of circle=22/7*r2
                     =22/7*7*7
                    =154
area of shaded portion = area of circle - area of triangle
                                   =154-48
                                      =106

Area of triangle=1/2 bh
=1/2*12*8
=48
area of circle=22/7*r2
=22/7*7*7
=154
area of shaded portion=area of circle-area of triangle
=154-48
=106
