A very short speech on untouchability in India
Untouchability in India was a major problem that existed long ago in India. But by our constitutional rights and duties it is abolished and it has been reduced to a large extent. The untouchable people as they were called Dalits were considered as HARIJANS by our father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi. Harijan means people of God. This inspired many of our Indian citizens to stop this act and bring India as a country which abolished untouchability. It is a practice that India can be proud of.
