1/Resistance=1/R1 + 1/R2

Therefore ,1/R=1/10 + 1/10

1/R=2/10

thus R=10/2=5

Therefore the ans is 5 Ohms.

Since the wire is bend in the form of a square and we know that the sides of square are equal so each side will have same resistance i.e. 5 ohms.Now if we make a diagonal so the two faces in each side of a diagonal will have two sides and the resistance will be 10 ohms

So the total effective resistance will be

1 / R = 2 / 10 = 1 / 5

R = 5 ohms
