given that the clock is 12 mins late on sunday noon and 16 mins ahead of correct time at 12 noon on the next sunday
so the clock has gained 12 +16 =28 mins in 7 days
so in 1 day it would gain 4 mins.......(unitary method) (1)
since it was 12 mins late ,it has to overcome 12 mins first in order to get 8 mins faster than the correct clock
therefore it has to gain 12+8 =20 mins in total
from (1)
4 mins in 1 day therefore 20 mins in 5 days (unitary method)
so it would be 8 mins faster than the real clock on sunday noon +5 days=thursday noon
so the answer of your question is thursday noon
