(a) Y Ltd. forfeited 400 shares of ₹ 10 each issued at a premium of ₹ 2 per share for non-
payment of allotment of ₹ 5 per share (including ₹ 2 premium) and first call of ₹ 2 per share. 40% of these shares were re-issued at ₹ 10 per share, ₹ 8 paid up.
The final call of ₹ 2 has not been made.


(b) Eros Ltd. forfeited 100 shares of ₹ 10 each (₹ 8 called up) on which application of ₹ 2
per share and allotment of ₹ 6 per share (including premium of ₹ 2) was received. 80
of these shares were re-issued to Raman for ₹ 7 per share, ₹ 8 paid up.


(c) Sun Ltd. forfeited 500 shares of ₹ 20 each for non-payment of final call of ₹ 6 per
share. These shares were re-issued at ₹ 16 per share fully paid.
