distances on ray AX and B1,B2,B3
are points at equal distances on ray BY If AB has to be divided in
the ratio 5:2 which points have to be joined to get the point of
division C on AB?? Write out the similar triangles formed?

Please find below the solution to the asked query:

Given : A1 , A2 , A3 are points at
equal distances on ray AX and B1 , B2 ,
B3 are points at equal distances on ray BY

And

If AB has to be divided in the ratio 5 : 2 , So we joined
A7 to B , and

A5 to B5 and line A5 to
B5 intersect line AB at C at ratio of 5 : 2
