12. A stock is a quantity that is measurable at a particular point of time. While flow is a quantity that is measured with reference to a period of time(for a specific length of time).
Losses: Flow
The amount/Size of losses is measured over a period of time.
Capital: Stock
On a particular date (let's say, 21 Nov 2019), a country has stock of machines, buildings, accessories, raw materials, etc. It is a stock of capital. 
Production: Flow
change in production is a flow because it measured over a period of time.
Wealth: Stock
Wealth is a stock since it can be measured at a point of time.
