According to the second pointer, if wind formation happens due to unequal heating of air present in the atmosphere, then why are winds not formed everyday? What makes wind get formed on a specific day or time?

Dear student,
Please find below the answer:

We experience winds every day. It is just that on some days, its intensity is low and on some days its intensity is high. They are important as they keep the temperature of the Earth within the limits. It is due to winds that one is able to fly a kite. They sometimes take the form of storms, hurricanes etc.

Hope this clears your doubt.
Regards.
