As seen in the story 'The Last Leaf', Sue constantly encouraged and motivated Johnsy to stay positive when she became depressed due to her illness. She tried her best to pep her mood and lift her spirits. oyr peers can be our confidants and companions in our troubled times. They can understand our situation and relate to the circumstance that may cause depression. At times, we feel more comfortable sharing our woes with them than with our parenst or family members. With their support and help, we can overcome a difficult situation and remain positive.
