adults should not impose their perspective on child. do you agree? give reasoned answer
I agree that adults should not impose their perspective on children because children and adults have totally different perspectives. The world of children is full of dreams and fantasies whereas an adult’s vision is usually realistic or philosophical. When children grow up they become inquisitive to know and explore new things. They want to establish their own identity in their world and become apprehensive about believing whatever adults say. Therefore, when parents or adults try to impose their perspective on them, they become rebellious. In the story “Should Wizard Hit Mommy” Jo becomes hostile when her father refuses to agree that the wizard should hit Skunk’s mother. She does not want to believe her father’s statement that mothers are always right. Hence, she insists that the next day the story should end differently. It is important that adults should guide their children whenever they make mistakes but they should not impose their ideas on them.
