After "accustomed" ,do we use with or to?
?To? is the correct preposition to use after accustomed ? so we can have accustomed to but not accustomed with.
Perhaps its similarity with ?get familiar with? is the reason why ?get accustomed with? ?sounds? right but it is wrong usage.
Examples:
1) The soldiers get accustomed to the heights at the base camp before moving towards the peak.
2) I am not accustomed to the big city life yet.
3) Sudhir?s wife shops a lot. He is accustomed to spending hours in shopping mall holding bags.
