Akash had a magnet hanging from a wooden stand. he pulled it so that it's south pole pointed to the north and then let go. what will happen and why ?

1. The magnet will turn back to it's initial position.

2. In that position, the north and south of the magnet will point towards north and south poles respectively.

3. This is because a freely suspended magnet lies in the north-south direction.
