Yes, its true that all life on earth is bottled sun's energy or sun is the ultimate source of energy on earth. We known that all living beings are directly or indirectly dependent on plants for food. These plants prepare their own food in the presence of sunlight. So, if there is no sun, no photosynthesis leading to the death of all plants. Consequently, the entire food web will get disturbed. In the absence of plants herbivores will decrease in number, herbivores are the source of food for canivores so indirectly every organism will suffer due to absence of sunlight.
