The nucleus of sperm fuses with the nucleus of ovum in oviducts to form a single celled zygote. Thus, leading in the process of fertilisation.

friend !! there is no any 2 cell called gamate. that is half cell one is male's half cell xy & xx + 23 and another female's half cell xx +23 . when they fuse half + half = one cell. hope it help ful for u!
