alls of masses in ratio 2:1 are dropped from the same height. Neglecting air resistance, find the ratio of
i) the time taken for them to reach the ground. ii) the forces acting on them during motion. iii) their velocities when they strike the ground. iv) their acceleration when they strike the ground.

According to law of gravitation,

i) they will strike the ground on same time. Because time depends only on height not mass.

ii) the force is directly proportional to the mass, so the ratio of the force will be 2:1.

iii) Their velocity when they strike ground depends on height not mass, so their velocity will be same.

iv) Their acceleration is constant and does not depends on mass or height, it will be constant. So their acceleration will be same.
